The ways of this world teach that we need to love ourselves before anything else. Man teaches that we should do whatever it takes to stay alive as long as we can. Man teaches that Jesus brings peace. We are now going to show how this is not at all what the King James Version of the Bible teaches us.
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 10:34-39)
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. (Luke 14:26)
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4)
Now here is how I bring variance between others. No where are we told to celebrate birthdays nor man-made holidays in the King James Version of the Bible. By celebrating these days man is adding to the word of God. Spiritually, man is telling the Father that they need more than His perfect ways.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. (Deuteronomy 4:2)
Beings how we are now living in the last days, it is time for those that want to obtain perfection with our Father to repent.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
This is the time in which you must decide whether you want the appraisal of God or man. Whichever you choose is where you make your stand.
